Report & Reflection #10 - Animoto Slideshows & Copyright

Hi everyone

This week was also another important week for us because we had a chance to learn about Animoto and Copyright rules. Elementary school was the first time I had learned about slide shows and I remember I was fascinated to learn about the simple features and yet struggled to make a slideshow. Ever since that experience I had always avoided making power points. Of course, I as time progressed I was getting comfortable with making slideshows but I was never impressed with the outline. Power point had very limited options and there was no need for new exploration. However after exploring about Animoto

Copy Right Law

Understanding the importance of copyright had increased after completing this week’s session. Any online source that are being used towards your personal work must be cited accordingly. Different citations are being required for different purposes. As a Digital, Citizen should obey the Digital Law element six (Ribble, p.11)

I will add this to my PLE under learning and create since this is one of the new tools that we came across and had a chance to learn about it. We had a chance to understand the importance of copyright and explored Animoto.
This week article on feed is about “are cooking crumbling up our privacy? We asked an expert to find out” In some cases having computer cookies can be dangerous because people can track our personal information. Author Montulli had mentioned using Netscape browser can be a much safer choice. Feel free to read the article for further information.
